01 Storms
A storm is raging in the air tonight… … raindrops joining in the river’s flow. The thunder will soften. The lightning will fade away. And no one will ask: “Where did it all go?”
We are storms that rage from the start of youth to age. We think the story’s endless, till we reach the final page.
We are born to lose on whichever path we choose. We pray for an endless tab until the day we pay our dues.
A storm is raging behind your eyes. The tell-tale sign of a conscious mind. The light of stars … The heat of a summer rain … … will steal your storm and leave you behind.
We are storms that rage from the start of youth to age. We think the story’s endless, till we reach the final page.
We are born to lose on whichever path we choose. We pray for an endless tab until the day we pay our dues.
We are born to lose on whichever path we choose. We pray for an endless tab until the day we pay our dues.
We are storms that rage from the start of youth to age. We think the story’s endless, till we reach the final page.

02 The Cossack's Dream
feat. Joe Deninzon
Oh it’s not evening, it’s not e-eveni-i-i-i-ng I slept so little before first li-i-i-ight. Slept so little before first li-ight Oh and I had a dream last ni-i-i-ight. Slept so little before first li-ight Oh and I had a dream last night.
Oh in the shadows of my dre-e-eam, My raven black horse I could se-e-e-e-e Started playing, started dancing, Oh started romping under me-e-e-e. Started playing, started dancing, Oh started romping under me.
Oh and the evil winds were blo-owi-i-i-ing - Coming at me from the E-e-e-east And my hat… it soon went flying - Oh from my head it was rele-e-e-eased. And my hat… it soon went flying - Oh from my head it was released.
Oh, but the captain was quick w-i-i-i-i-tt-e-e-e-ed He figured out what my dream sa-a-a-aid. Oh it will surely disappe-e-e-ar Oh you will lose your wild he-e-e-ead! Oh it will surely disappe-e-ear Oh you will lose your wild he-e-ead!
Oh it’s not evening, it’s not evening I slept so little before first light. Slept so little before first light Oh and I had a dream last night.

03 Tonight, Tonight, Tonight, Tonight, Tonight
feat. Lynx
A shadow moves in the candle flame’s light The waiter asks if that’s all for tonight The barman’s seen this scene play out So often before.
The car pulls up and they both hop in. He looks at her. She looks at him. The driver drives The pair To where They’ll stand at her door.
And as the minutes go by Can she sense the lust inside of him? Is that love in her eyes, Or the ghosts of past nights haunting him? Will he conquer the past Or will he let his longing conquer him? Cause the time’s coming fast When he’ll have to fight to find himself tonight… tonight… tonight, tonight, tonight.
(sax solo)
A flash of skin on a moonlit night A glimpse of thigh in the driver’s eye While he debates, Equivocates, Is this fate - Or something more?
And as the days go by Will he feel the guilt devouring him? Will he always be sad Will she always be in love with him? But the silence is bad, So he looks for words to lead him home tonight… Tonight… Tonight, tonight, tonight…
All over again Does it hurt just to say her name? All over again Did he think that she felt the same? All over again Is there anybody else to blame? All over again
And as the years go by Will he ever wish he’d kept that vow? And the love that he had Lies along the road abandoned now. Will he ever look back? Would it even matter, anyhow? Cause it’s all in the past And forgiveness is the Only path tonight…

04 Lakeview Samurai
feat. Nam Chumo
As I was walking last Friday night, a figure moved in Wrigley’s light. I looked him over He looked at me My Clark and Addison mystery. As he began to dance I stood there - frozen in a trance!
Lakeview Samurai Katana down his lulu leggings My oh my! Airpods under his kabuto - Volume on high! Lakeview Samurai!
Lakeview Samurai Yoga mat and omamori Don’t ask why! Seppuku when they traded Rizzo - Almost died! Lakeview Samurai!
From downtown’s ghost town He marches forth. Tourists freak out In River North. Hipsters in Old Town? They call the cops! In Lincoln Park They shutter their shops. But here in Lakeview East I think we notice him the least.
Lakeview Samurai Kusari-yama hydro flask Scary guy! Yumi, ya and matcha latte - Flying high! Lakeview Samurai!
Lakeview Samurai Smartwatch and an inrō - He can accessorize! Kazaritsuke by Aesop Tints and dyes Lakeview Samurai!
Konichiwa! Ko-ni-chi-wa! Konichiwa! Oh, ko-ni-chi-wa! Konichiwa! Oh, ko-ni-chi-wa! Konichiwa! Oh, ko-ni-chi-waaaaaa-waaaaaa…
(Ian shouts: “watch it with that katana!!!”)

05 Hell or NYC?
feat. David Jackson
When I awake next Tuesday morning I’ll see a hotel room again My wake up call will sound its warning To join the fight I’ll never win
Hell or NYC? Rescue me!
A random cyclist cursed me with a shout He ran the light… nearly took me out If you should fall upon these streets New Yorkers climb your corpse with cleats
Hell or NYC? Rescue me!
I have spent the last eight hours Watching as my firm’s directors war. After this there’ll be free drinks Every open elevator door Will be a shoving war
Where do you golf? I rarely do. Your handicap? People like you. Where’s the best snow? I never ski. What do you know? This isn’t me.
Hell or NYC? Rescue me!
Where do you golf? I rarely do. Your handicap? People like you. Where’s the best snow? I never ski. What do you know? This isn’t me.
They say you are the room you’re in Maybe it’s time I moved again Though birds and rats would have my pity It’s time that someone nuked this city
Hell or N… Hell or N… Hell or NYC Rescue me!
And when you land they steal everything you own. They’d steal your dog. They’d steal his bone. They’d steal their own mama’s mobile phone! Please shove this city where the sun’s never shone!

06 Deathless
A three-part suite: “Above Volkov’s Mill,” “Goodbye, America!” and “And He Always Will.”
High upon a mountain, past Volokov’s mill, Dwells Kashay the Deathless, and he always will. Gazing at the armies, gathering below, Waiting for the madness and the mushroom glow.
Out of the heat and into the fire, The souls falling down and flames growing higher. And as the armies fight, Kashay prays … for an endless night With dark desire, no dawn will rise or peace transpire.
High upon a mountain, past Volokov’s mill, Dwells Kashay the Deathless, and he always will. Gazing at the armies, clashing far below, Savoring the madness as the mushrooms grow.
So many people died, and what was it all for? The parts they played in America’s war. Our lives are prisons – we will never be free, And our cells are made with magic that’s so strong you cannot see.
As if taken by Kashay Besmertny, America you’ve gotten so hard to see. It seems as if with every war, You vanished just a little more.
Mothers left out on the street. Your sanctions left no food to eat. America, the things you do I see now are coming back to you.
His death was in a needle on an island none traversed. Now the island is no longer, so he will always be accursed. Once there was a mountain, now there’s just a hill. He never saw the beauty – Now he never will.
On a silent planet, life forevermore. He won the final battle, but lost the war.
Born to be deathless. Forever deathless. Cursed to be deathless - Kashay Besmertny.
Born to be deathless. Forever deathless. Cursed to be deathless - Kashay Besmertny.

07 The Lucky Ones
feat. Rick Witkowski
There was a time I felt the world was breaking always taking me down.
There was a time when I hoped your printer would explode somehow.
There was a time I counted down the minutes wondering when it’s ending.
There was a time But that’s the past You know I’m so much better now!
There was a time When I hoped As you ran Through Central Park That you’d run in front of a snow plow.
There was a time But that’s the past You know I’m so much better now!
I know when it’s people like you Hating people like me I’m the lucky one. Lord knows when it’s people like you Hating people like me I’m the lucky one. We all know when it’s people like you Hating people like us We’re the lucky ones. God knows when it’s people like you Hating people like us We’re the lucky ones.
I mute your mic when you’re talking Cause every day I’m sleepwalking. If I weren’t so medicated You would be defenestrated.
There was a time I felt the world was breaking Always taking Me down
There was a time when I hoped your printer would explode somehow.
I know when it’s people like you Hating people like me I’m the lucky one. I know when it’s people like you Hating people like us We’re the lucky ones.
We’re the lucky ones.
